Job Title: Facilities / Maintenance Electrician

Location: Gloucester

Salary: Up to £35,000 plus van and fuel card and on call payments

The Company:

Build Recruitment are working on behalf of a Ministry of Defence contractor to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer  to provide a facilities electrical engineer service across Gloucester in MOD sites.

As the electrician on site you will provide planned and reactive electrical maintenance for statutory, mandatory and planned preventative maintenance tasks.

Overtime and on-call payments are extra to the advertised salary to cover the emergency call out rota, which is approx one week in 6.

You will be required to undertake security clearance and all offers are subject to the vetting being passed.

Day to Day:

• Planned and reactive electrical maintenance and remedial works on a variety of commercial buildings including warehouses, hangars and offices.
• Installing new light fittings
• Emergency light testing
• Replacing faulty UPS units
• Generator testing
• Distribution board checks

Requirements:

• Full driving licence
• 18th Edition
• Relevant electrical qualification, level 3 or 236 part 1 and 2.
• Commercial or industrial electrical experience
• A DBS check will be required
