Assistant Quantity Surveyo r – civils focused

Based on site – NW

Perm Salary – negotiable on your experience plus car Allowance and lots of other good stuff

The Opportunity:

I’m happy to be working with an established Civils Sub contractor, over 12 years established in their chosen sectors- Water (clean and Waste) and Highways, FRC and public realm works.

They are keen now to appoint a AQS, with a solid work ethic and desire to learn on the job, with great opportunities to progress to Senior in the next 2-3 years( its up to you and performance) You’ll need to be a quick learn, passionate about delivering the best value combined with the best project. Working hand in hand with a SQS, doing up-to-date measures, cost and compensation claims on an NEC 4 measured contract – experience in using FastDraft or CEMAR for managing the contract.

The first project is near Crewe on a highway scheme and you’ll be working with a SQS who is site based. This scheme is a highway improvement scheme on two roads including, new cycle route, paving, junctions, lighting etc and associated infrastructure.

You’ll have already:

* Relevant Degree – completed
* Experience working 2 years min
* NEC contract experience
* Salary Guide (DOE) £35000 – £42,000
