Our client is expanding their team in London to bolster the success of their project management efforts. Based in an award-winning consultancy with a diverse project range, they’re on the lookout for a dedicated Associate Project Manager keen on advancing their career. You’ll be instrumental in delivering top-notch projects for their clients, collaborating with the supportive team in London and our larger 200+ project management crew across the country.

The Project Management division handles projects across various sectors, from prestigious corporate clients to leading sports teams, automotive giants, groundbreaking R&D institutions, and esteemed academic research centres. To thrive in this environment, we need individuals with strong interpersonal and communication skills, eager to grow within our business.

Your responsibilities will involve overseeing projects from inception to completion, including:

  • Managing a diverse range of projects across various sectors and stages
  • Leading health and safety arrangements
  • Managing multidisciplinary teams
  • Stakeholder engagement and client relationship management
  • Establishing project briefs and communication channels
  • Coordinating feasibility studies and obtaining necessary approvals
  • Financial management and budget monitoring
  • Contractor selection and contract administration
  • Site monitoring and quality control
  • Reporting to clients and leading project meetings

To be successful, you’ll need extensive experience in consultancy design and construction project management, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office and project scheduling software is essential, along with ideally a relevant degree and professional accreditation.

You’ll also benefit from additional experience in risk management, detailed design management, stakeholder engagement, and procurement strategies. Strong communication skills, ambition, flexibility, and commercial awareness are key attributes we’re looking for in candidates.
