Collaborating closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors, you will be instrumental in the pre-construction phase by providing accurate cost estimates for both residential and commercial construction ventures. We are searching for an individual with a solid background in construction estimating, exceptional analytical abilities, and an unwavering attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process quotations, bids, and tenders to support project procurement.
• Develop comprehensive bill of quantities for final submission, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Review tender information and compile trade-specific packages for pricing by our supply chain partners.
• Generate trade-specific quantified bills of quantities to facilitate supply chain pricing.
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction lifecycle, identifying variances and adjusting estimates as necessary.
• Provide quantities for building works to assist in project pricing.
• Assess material, labor, and plant requirements to compile competitive tenders.
• Create breakdowns, substantiation, and conduct value engineering processes to align with client budgetary constraints.
• Analyze tender documentation to determine the scope of works and subpackages for inquiry.

Requirements:

• Preferably hold a degree in quantity surveying or a related construction field.
• High standard qualification in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant experience.
• Prior experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, particularly focusing on high-end residential projects, is preferred.
• Understanding of project management, planning, risk, and investment processes.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
