A fantastic opportunity awaits prospective candidates to join the Quantity Surveying Team as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, with the flexibility of working remotely. The company is on the lookout for a driven and ambitious individual to take on the role of Technical Lead, spearheading client management and playing a pivotal role in team development, all while embracing the digital transformation journey. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

Requirements for this role include a minimum of five years of experience within a consultancy environment, MRICS or nearing Chartered status, and familiarity with various construction projects spanning public and private sectors. Proficiency in all aspects of Quantity Surveying, including pre and post-contract duties, along with adeptness in Excel and standard Windows applications. Familiarity with industry-specific software, particularly Causeway CATO, is advantageous. Successful candidates should demonstrate a track record of delivering projects within specified timeframes and budgets, coupled with excellent communication skills in client-facing roles.

OUTLINE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The role entails understanding client objectives, establishing project briefs, and determining the best implementation strategies. Responsibilities also include preparing feasibility reports, advising on procurement strategies, liaising with project teams, overseeing tender processes, and managing post-contract administration duties. Additionally, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will provide regular progress updates, anticipate potential issues, and propose effective solutions. Furthermore, the role involves supporting team members, staying abreast of industry developments, contributing to business development activities, and participating in team management meetings.
