Trainee Contracts Supervisor – Newton Abbot

We are looking for a Trainee Contracts Supervisor to support an experienced Contracts Manager with void and planned maintenance work on social housing.

Full training provided with a clear progression route to Contracts Supervisor.

You’ll work directly alongside an experienced Contracts Manager, gaining practical experience in inspections, quality control, contractor management and resident liaison.

We are keen to speak with anyone who has some construction experience and wants to start managing contracts, starting with the basics and building up into a contracts supervisor role with the business.
 

Trainee Manager Job Description:

• Carry out property surveys and inspections
• Complete quality checks and snagging
• Support works sign-off
• Coordinate appointments with residents, contractors and surveyors
• Speaking with customers and helping where needed
• Take photographs and maintain accurate records
• Liaise with residents and contractors
• Report any issues, defects or delays
• Support the Contracts Manager with day-to-day duties

Trainee Manager Requirements:

• Some construction/ maintenance experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Good IT skills
• Keen to learn and progress
• Able to follow established processes and systems

An Enhanced DBS check will be done for the successful candidate.
