We are recruiting for a Graduate Sustainable Mechanical & Electrical Services Engineer (Building Services Engineer) to join a leading independent sustainability and engineering consultancy, based in Cornwall.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate looking to start their career within the building services sector, working on innovative and sustainable projects alongside experienced engineers and sustainability specialists.

The role operates on a hybrid working basis, combining time in the Cornwall office with remote working.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the design and delivery of sustainable mechanical and electrical building services.

• Working alongside experienced engineers across a range of exciting projects.

• Developing your technical knowledge and understanding of building services.

• Assisting with energy-efficient and low-carbon design solutions.

• Supporting calculations, technical reports, specifications and design documentation.

• Working collaboratively with other engineering and sustainability teams.

• Developing your understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is essential.

• Recent graduate or due to graduate with a genuine interest in building services.

• Strong interest in sustainability, energy efficiency and low-carbon building design.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Enthusiastic, motivated and keen to develop a long-term career in building services engineering.

• Previous placement or industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
