Mechanical Site Manager

Location: London
Salary: up to £70,000 package (DOE)

We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established specialist M&E contractor in Central London. 

This is a great opportunity for someone who knows how to run mechanical works on a major project, take ownership on site and operate confidently within a mechanical subcontractor environment.

The Role

You’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of the mechanical package, working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team to ensure works are delivered safely, to programme and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing mechanical installation works and site activities

• Leading mechanical subcontractors, engineers and operatives

• Monitoring progress against programme

• Coordinating mechanical works with other trades and M&E packages

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and RAMS

• Managing quality, H&S and site documentation

• Liaising with the main contractor, client and project team

• Supporting commissioning, snagging and handover

About You

• Experience managing fit-out sites

• Strong mechanical knowledge

• Experience managing sizeable mechanical packages

• Confident managing subcontractors and site teams

• Good understanding of programmes, drawings and RAMS
