Contracts Manager

Dudley Up to £65,000 Car Allowance Package

An established contractor is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join their West Midlands team.

The successful candidate will be someone who can lead a team, manage programmes effectively and confidently oversee the delivery of social housing contracts.

The Role

You’ll take responsibility for the operational delivery of multiple contracts, working closely with clients, site teams, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the delivery of social housing contracts from an operational and contractual perspective.

• Managing programmes, ensuring works remain on track and addressing delays or issues proactively.

• Managing client relationships and maintaining strong communication throughout delivery.

• Monitoring KPIs, performance and contractual requirements.

• Managing subcontractors and supply chain partners.

• Supporting the commercial performance of the contracts.

• Identifying opportunities to improve operational performance and delivery.

About You

We’re particularly interested in candidates who have worked within a social housing environment, with a good understanding of the challenges and requirements of delivering works across occupied properties.

Experience or knowledge of FRA works and fire safety would be a strong advantage, although this is not essential if you have the right social housing background.

To be considered, you will have:

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar senior operational position, within a social housing environment
• FRA / Passive Fire experience is desirable.
• Experience managing and leading operational teams.
• A strong understanding of programmes and programme management.
• Good commercial and contractual awareness.
