Groundworker 

Location: Birmingham South
Contract: minimum 5 months work
Hours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week
Rate: £20.27 per hour (CIS)

About the Role:
Build Recruitment is currently seeking a Groundworker to join our client’s reactive maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on external occupied domestic properties, carrying out day-to-day ground repairs and general maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out a variety of groundworker duties, such as slabbing repairs, brickwork, install and replacement of fences and hand rails.

• Deliver high-quality maintenance on occupied properties

• Conduct secondary trade work to a competent standard (e.g., external carpentry, brickwork repairs)

• Maintain excellent customer service throughout your visits

Requirements:

• NVQ or City & Guilds L2 in relevant trade.

• Previous experience in social housing, council, or external domestic property repairs

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Ability to perform basic secondary trades (desirable)
