Schedulers / Repairs Planners – Redditch
Location: Redditch
Pay Rate: Competitive (DOE)
Contract: Initial 4-Week Temporary Contract with Potential for Permanent Employment
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
We are currently recruiting for experienced Schedulers / Repairs Planners to join a leading maintenance contractor delivering repairs and maintenance services on behalf of a local authority.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and fast-paced team, initially on a 4-week temporary contract, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and coordinating repair and maintenance appointments.
- Allocating work to operatives and subcontractors efficiently.
- Managing diaries to maximise productivity and service delivery.
- Liaising with tenants, clients, operatives, and management teams.
- Handling inbound and outbound calls regarding repair appointments.
- Updating internal systems accurately and maintaining records.
- Monitoring work progress and rescheduling appointments where required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a scheduling, planning, or repairs administration role.
- Experience within social housing, property maintenance, facilities management, or a similar environment is desirable.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good IT skills and experience using scheduling systems.
- Customer-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
