Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer – Cornwall
We are working with a leading provider of heating, maintenance, and renewable energy solutions within the social housing sector, to recruit an experienced Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer across Cornwall.

Job Role:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on domestic gas appliances and heating systems.
- Diagnosing and rectifying breakdowns in social housing properties.
- Completing repairs efficiently and in line with Gas Safe regulations.
- Managing parts ordering and job progression to ensure timely completion.
- Using PDA technology to update jobs, record work completed, and book parts.
- Liaising with tenants and clients, providing updates and delivering excellent customer service.
- Participating in the company call-out rota.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Requirements:
- Current Gas Safe registration.
- ACS qualifications including:
- CCN1
- CPA1
- CENWAT
- CKR1
- HTR1
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent).
- City & Guilds Energy Efficiency qualification.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience using mobile PDA technology.
- Previous experience carrying out gas servicing and breakdown work.
- Experience within social housing or housing association contracts.
- Full UK driving licence.
- DBS clearance.
