Salary: £44,000–£46,000 Company Van

Permanent Full-Time Monday–Friday

Build Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a leading property maintenance contractor delivering refurbishment and maintenance works across the Isle of Wight.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established organisation offering long-term stability, a company vehicle, and ongoing training and development.

The Role

• Carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations across occupied and void properties
• Inspection, testing, fault finding, and remedial works
• Electrical upgrades and refurbishment projects
• Completing certification and compliance documentation
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with current regulations
• Working closely with supervisors and other trades to deliver high-quality services
• Providing excellent customer service within occupied properties
• Maintaining accurate records using company systems

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent preferred)
• ECS or CSCS Card
• Proven experience in domestic or refurbishment environments
• Strong fault-finding and remedial experience
• Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

Desirable

• Experience within social housing or local authority contracts
• Asbestos Awareness
• First Aid qualification
