Handyman – Permanent

Build Recruitment are working with a leading Housing Association to recruit a Handyperson to carry out minor repairs and safety checks across residential properties in West Kent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out health & safety checks (fire alarms, emergency lighting, water testing)
• Complete minor repairs – basic plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance
• Support communal areas and older persons’ schemes
• Assist with garage inspections and upkeep
• Deliver/install equipment (e.g. dehumidifiers, heaters)
• Work alongside colleagues on two-person jobs when required
• Report additional repairs and maintain van stock

Requirements:

• Experience in general maintenance or multi-trade work
• Basic skills in plumbing and carpentry
• Good communication and customer service
• Able to work independently
• Full UK Driving Licence
