Fabric Engineer (Foot Mobile – 8 Central London Sites)

Working Pattern: Foot mobile (maximum 2 sites per day)

We are currently recruiting for a Fabric Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider on a foot mobile basis across 8 high-profile commercial sites in Central London.

This role will involve carrying out a wide range of general building fabric maintenance tasks across multiple Landmark properties, ensuring all sites are maintained to a high standard of presentation, safety, and compliance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing a variety of handy-person duties including basic carpentry, minor plumbing, painting and decorating, door and lock repairs, ceiling tile replacement, patch repairs, and general fabric upkeep. You will also support with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks and reactive works as required.

This is a mobile role, however travel is controlled and efficient, with engineers typically attending no more than two sites per day, all located within Zones 1 and 2.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Fabric Engineer or Handyperson role
• Strong general maintenance and repair skills
• Experience working in commercial or corporate environments desirable
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Reliable, presentable, and client-facing
• Based within easy reach of Central London
• Temp to perm opportunity
