Job Title: Mobile Cleaner / Caretaker
Location: Across multiple school sites (6 locations)
Hours: 2:00pm – 7:00pm (25 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £19.23 per hour (Umbrella)
Reporting to: Site Manager / Facilities Manager

 Job Purpose

To provide high-quality cleaning services across multiple school sites, ensuring all environments are clean, safe, and well-maintained. The role also includes occasional caretaker responsibilities, including securing buildings when required. Full training will be provided.

 Key Responsibilities

Cleaning Duties:

• Carry out cleaning tasks across six school sites, including classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages
• Use cleaning equipment and materials safely in line with training and health & safety procedures
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns

Caretaker Cover (as required):

• Provide cover for caretaker duties when needed
• Lock and secure school buildings when required
• Conduct basic site security checks
• Report minor repairs or site issues

 Person Specification

Essential:

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Flexible and willing to travel between multiple sites
• Good attention to detail
• Basic understanding of health & safety

Desirable:

• Previous cleaning or caretaking experience (not essential as full training is provided)
• Basic maintenance knowledge
