The Role

We’re looking for a skilled Multi-Skilled Technician to join a busy Repairs & Maintenance team working across social housing properties in Cambridgeshire.

This is a stable, long-term opportunity within a growing contract, offering consistent work, strong support, and excellent benefits.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out repairs and maintenance works in occupied social housing properties
• Delivering a mix of plumbing repairs, installations, and fault finding
• Using strong carpentry skills including door hanging, skirting, kitchen unit repairs, and general joinery
• Completing jobs to a high standard within agreed response times
• Working alongside other trades to complete larger repair tasks
• Using a PDA system to update and manage job progress
• Providing excellent customer service to tenants and housing officers
• Working safely in line with health & safety and safeguarding policies

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a multi-skilled technician or tradesperson
• Strong background in plumbing with good carpentry/joinery skills
• Experience working in social housing or occupied properties (preferred)
• NVQ / City & Guilds or time-served experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Professional, reliable, and able to work independently

About the Contract

You’ll be joining a well-established social housing maintenance contract covering around 3,000 properties across Cambridgeshire, mainly central Cambridge but extending across the county.

The role involves a mix of repairs, voids, and planned maintenance, offering variety and steady long-term workload.

•  Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
•  Covering Cambridgeshire & surrounding areas
•  Permanent or Temp-to-Perm available
