Overview
We are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor who is looking to recruit a professional and organised Call Handler to join their team based in Walton-on-Thames. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role, ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a confident telephone manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering incoming calls from tenants, clients, and internal teams in a professional and timely manner
- Logging calls accurately onto internal systems and maintaining up-to-date records
- Raising and scheduling jobs for maintenance and repairs
- Liaising with operatives, subcontractors, and site teams to coordinate works
- Providing updates to customers and ensuring a high level of customer service at all times
- Managing email enquiries and supporting general administrative duties
- Escalating urgent or complex issues where required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a call handling, customer service, or administrative role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when inputting data
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience within construction, housing, or maintenance (desirable but not essential)
