About the Role
Our client, a well-established and growing repairs contractor based in Portsmouth, is seeking an organised and proactive Repairs Scheduler to join their busy team. This is a key position responsible for coordinating maintenance and repair appointments, ensuring efficient service delivery, and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Scheduling and allocating repair and maintenance work to engineers and operatives

Managing diaries to ensure optimal efficiency and timely completion of jobs

Acting as the main point of contact for tenants, clients, and engineers

Handling inbound and outbound calls, emails, and system updates

Prioritising emergency and urgent repairs
-
Monitoring job progress and resolving scheduling conflicts

Ensuring all data is accurately recorded on internal systems
About You
-
Previous experience in a scheduling, planning, or coordination role (ideally within repairs, maintenance, or housing)

Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Confident using IT systems and scheduling software

Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities
