Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Semi-Skilled Engineer to join a well-established facilities team, supporting maintenance operations across a commercial site. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and progress within building services.
This is a van mobile role, covering multiple sites as required.
TEMP – PERM
The role will focus on supporting the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works, while assisting skilled engineers with more complex tasks and minor project works.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out basic PPM tasks across fabric and building systems to support first time fix targets
- Assist skilled engineers with reactive maintenance and small project works
- Identify and resolve minor issues such as lighting faults, basic plumbing leaks, and fabric repairs
- Ensure all work is completed safely in line with RAMS, using PPE and completing point of work risk assessments
- Accurately log all works, updates, and defects on CAFM systems
- Maintain high standards across the site, ensuring both functionality and presentation
- Participate in an on-call rota where required
- Complete all required training and development to progress technically
Requirements:
- NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 in a relevant trade
- Basic understanding of commercial building systems (heating, water, lighting)
- Familiarity with PPM schedules and SFG20 standards
- Awareness of Legionella (L8), health and safety regulations (HASWA), and safe isolation
- Experience using CAFM systems such as Concept or MIR Go
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office
- DBS check required
- Asbestos Awareness (UKATA or IATP)
