About the Role

Our client, a leading Tier 1 contractor, is currently seeking an experienced Repairs Planner to join their team in Hammersmith. This opportunity is being offered on a temporary ongoing basis through our agency.

This is a busy, office-based position where you will play a key role in coordinating repair and maintenance works, ensuring efficiency and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Scheduling and allocating repair and maintenance jobs to operatives and subcontractors

• Managing diaries to maximise efficiency and minimise travel time

• Acting as a central point of contact for residents, clients, and field operatives

• Monitoring job progress and making real-time adjustments to schedules

• Booking appointments in line with SLAs and client expectations

• Handling inbound calls and emails, resolving queries in a professional manner

• Updating internal systems with accurate and timely information

• Liaising with supervisors and management teams to ensure smooth service delivery

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a planning or scheduling role, ideally within repairs, maintenance, or housing

• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Competent IT skills and experience using scheduling systems

• A proactive, problem-solving mindset

Desirable Experience

• Background in social housing or working with a main contractor

• Familiarity with responsive repairs and maintenance operations
