About the Role
Our client, a leading Tier 1 contractor, is currently seeking an experienced Repairs Planner to join their team in Hammersmith. This opportunity is being offered on a temporary ongoing basis through our agency.
This is a busy, office-based position where you will play a key role in coordinating repair and maintenance works, ensuring efficiency and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Scheduling and allocating repair and maintenance jobs to operatives and subcontractors

Managing diaries to maximise efficiency and minimise travel time

Acting as a central point of contact for residents, clients, and field operatives

Monitoring job progress and making real-time adjustments to schedules

Booking appointments in line with SLAs and client expectations

Handling inbound calls and emails, resolving queries in a professional manner

Updating internal systems with accurate and timely information

Liaising with supervisors and management teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Candidate Requirements

Previous experience in a planning or scheduling role, ideally within repairs, maintenance, or housing

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Competent IT skills and experience using scheduling systems

A proactive, problem-solving mindset
Desirable Experience
-
Background in social housing or working with a main contractor

Familiarity with responsive repairs and maintenance operations
