My client is looking for an experienced site manager to oversee a large-scale bathroom installation contract across the Ayrshire region. This is a 12-week temporary contract with a strong opportunity to move into a permanent position.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations on a high-volume bathroom refurbishment programme. The role requires strong leadership, organisation, and a proactive approach to health & safety and programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all site activities

  • Manage subcontractors and trades on site

  • Ensure works are delivered on time and to specification

  • Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance

  • Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks

  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and senior management

  • Monitor quality control and resolve site issues efficiently

  • Maintain accurate site records and reporting

Essential Requirements

  • Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification

  • Valid First Aid at Work certificate

  • Proven experience managing refurbishment or bathroom contracts

  • Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Own transport (essential)
