Provide strategic leadership and drive operational excellence in the delivery of FM services.

Lead client and contract management by building strong relationships with senior decision-makers, developing workplace strategies, and supporting FM revenue growth. A hands-on approach is required.

Act as FM lead for designated key clients.

Negotiate contracts and SLAs with senior guidance and oversee delivery of best-in-class services.

Ensure effective mobilisation of new contracts.

Engage with contractors and sub-contractors to ensure harmonious and efficient service delivery.

Establish a clear management structure for FM operations delivery, aligned with a solid business plan reflecting operational needs.

Support senior leadership in developing and implementing a business plan for Occupier FM services.

Ensure sound financial performance of individual client contracts and overall team operations, liaising with finance teams as needed.

Provide effective line management and leadership of the team, inspiring and empowering staff, and supporting personal growth.

Ensure staff comply with relevant policies, procedures, and training, leading by example.

Ensure staff have access to appropriate IT systems and equipment for their roles.

Maintain effective health, safety, and environmental operations across all teams.
Other Tasks and Responsibilities

Participate in relevant operations boards to support governance of FM services.

Attend pitches for new business and support business development initiatives for Occupier FM.

Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for cross-border or client contracts, establishing a network of contractors to support potential business.

Perform additional duties as reasonably required.
Skills, Knowledge, and ExperienceMinimum Requirements
-
9 years’ experience in a senior role delivering profitable FM Occupier services.

Proven experience in workplace FM strategies, change management, and service development.

Experience leading strategic analysis and proposition development to win and maintain significant contracts.

Strong customer service ethos.

Excellent financial management, including proven P&L experience.

Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.

Demonstrable leadership experience, with a track record of developing and managing teams.

Ability and willingness to act under delegated authority and lead by example.

IT literate with strong written and oral reporting skills.
-
Motivated to help build a sustainable and significant business stream.
-
Understanding of the wider commercial context in FM operations.
Desirable
-
Degree or professional qualification in a relevant area (FM, Property, Engineering, Hospitality).
-
Health and Safety qualification/certification (e.g., NEBOSH).
-
Experience working for a major contractor or FM consultancy.
-
Cross-border working experience.
Location: London – mandatory 4 days on site, 1 day remote.
