Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Annual Salary: Up to £44,000 per annum

Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm)
About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join our Bristol team, working across a mixture of occupied and void domestic properties. This is a hands-on role covering reactive repairs, planned maintenance, and installation works.
You will be responsible for ensuring properties remain safe, compliant, and fit for residents, working to high standards while delivering a professional and customer-focused service. This role offers long-term stability, a consistent workload, and the opportunity to be part of a team making a real difference within the community.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out reactive electrical repairs including lighting, sockets, fuse boards, and associated systems

Inspect, test, and certify electrical installations in line with current regulations

Repair or replace faulty electrical components such as switches, outlets, circuit breakers, and fittings

Undertake installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair work across domestic properties

Use IT systems or handheld devices to manage and prioritise daily workload

Communicate clearly with residents, explaining works completed and any follow-on actions

Maintain clean, safe, and tidy working environments at all times

Work independently or collaboratively to meet service targets

Respond to emergency call-outs and participate in out-of-hours work where required

Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures

Deliver consistently high standards of customer care
Role Criteria
-
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (including AM2)

City & Guilds 18th Edition (17th Edition considered if working towards 18th)

Inspection & Testing qualification 2391 or equivalent (2394/2395)

Previous experience working in domestic or social housing environments

Full UK driving licence
-
Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently

To drive a company vehicle, candidates must be 21 or over, have held a licence for at least 3 months, and have fewer than 9 points.
