Carpenter

Location: Staines
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Annual Salary: Up to £37,900 per annum
Benefits: Company van and fuel card
Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm)

Day-to-Day Duties

• Carrying out reactive carpentry repairs in occupied social housing properties

• Undertaking 1st and 2nd fix carpentry works

• Duties to include, but not limited to:

  • Hanging doors

  • Skirting and architraves

  • Repairing and adjusting windows and doors

  • Lock changes

  • Repairing worktops and kitchen units

  • Minor uPVC repairs

• Providing high levels of customer care at all times

Role Criteria

• Proven experience in Carpentry

• Previous social housing experience

• Full, valid UK driving licence

To drive a Mears vehicle, applicants must be aged 21 or over, have held a licence for at least 3 months, and have fewer than 9 points.

All roles are subject to relevant background, identity, DBS, and security checks prior to commencement of employment.
