We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently working with a Housing Association, who are looking for a Ground Worker based in Bedfordshire.

Day to Day Duties for a Ground Worker on the response team

• Carry out day-to-day groundworks repairs in occupied properties.

• Carry out paving, slabbing, concreting, and tarmac repairs.

• Digging out and reinstating footpaths, driveways, and external areas.

• Carry out drainage repairs, including clearing, replacing, and installing pipework.

• Fencing repairs and installation, including posts, panels, and gates.

• Making good external areas after utility or maintenance works.

• Work tidy and respectful in tenants’ homes and communal areas.

• Use hand tools and small plant safely and correctly.

• Report any further issues or follow-on works to the office.

• Occasionally help other trades on small make-good jobs

The ideal candidate for this position would have experience as a ground worker or groundworker multi trader or maintenance operative or multi skilled operative or multi trade operative or multi trader or handyman with experience in social housing or housing associations or domestic properties or council properties or MOD (Ministry of Defence).
