Carpenter Multi-Trade – Social Housing

Location: Teddington
Salary: £40,698 per annum
Contract: Permanent

Build Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Carpenter Multi-Trade to join a busy repairs team working within occupied social housing properties across Teddington.

The Role

As a Multi-Trade Carpenter, you’ll be responsible for a variety of reactive and planned maintenance tasks within tenants’ homes. Work will include:

• Carpentry-focused repairs and installations
  • Doors, windows, staircases, and internal fittings
  • Flooring, framework, and general structural carpentry
• Minor multi?trade works such as:
  • Basic plumbing
  • Patch plastering
  • Tiling and brickwork
• Ensuring all work is completed first time, to a high standard, and safely
• Maintaining accurate records for audit and compliance
• Delivering excellent customer service in occupied homes

What You’ll Need

• Strong background in carpentry with multi?trade experience
• Previous experience working within repairs/maintenance (social housing preferred but not essential)
• Ability to work independently and diagnose issues effectively
• A customer?focused approach, with professionalism in occupied properties
• Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check (required for the role)
