Job Title: Site Manager – Cladding Project

Location: Norwich

Salary: £55,000 per annum

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a cladding project based in Norwich. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

This is a key role requiring strong leadership, coordination with subcontractors, and a solid understanding of external envelope and cladding systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site

• Oversee cladding installation works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and regulations

• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site operatives

• Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed and maintained on site

• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety inspections

• Monitor programme progress and report against targets

• Liaise with the project team, client, and consultants

• Ensure quality control and resolve any on-site issues promptly

• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on cladding or external envelope projects

• Strong knowledge of cladding systems and façade construction

• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certifications

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and deadlines

• Strong focus on health & safety and quality standards
