**Fabric Engineer – Reactive Maintenance (Temp to Perm)

Location: Liverpool  CH41

Hours: 5 days per week, typically 8:00–5:00 (flexibility available for 8:30 or 9:00 starts)

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Fabric Engineer to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis, working on a large residential development in Liverpool. The site comprises multiple residential blocks with communal spaces and onsite facilities. The ideal candidate will be local to the area and comfortable working within occupied properties.

A clear and up-to-date DBS check is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out reactive maintenance within occupied apartments and communal areas

• General fabric repairs and maintenance tasks

• Basic domestic plumbing work (baths, showers, toilets, sinks, etc.)

• Minor electrical tasks such as light switches and socket replacements (major electrical works handled by onsite electricians)

• General in-house maintenance and upkeep of the development

• Working professionally and respectfully around residents and the general public

Key Requirements

• Strong background in fabric maintenance

• Good domestic plumbing knowledge; plumbing qualifications highly desirable

• Experience working in residential environments is beneficial

• Excellent customer service skills and a professional, approachable manner

• Clear DBS check required prior to starting
