About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tiling Estimator to join our team, working on a range of commercial tiling projects including residential developments, retail, hospitality, healthcare, and public-sector works.

This is a key role responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, supporting tender submissions, and working closely with project managers and site teams to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial tiling projects

• Measure and take off quantities from drawings, specifications, and schedules

• Analyse tender documents, drawings, and scope of works

• Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations

• Prepare pricing breakdowns, budgets, and value engineering options

• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams during the tender process

• Assist with variations, cost control, and post-tender handovers

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Tiling Estimator or Estimator within the tiling / finishes / construction sector

• Strong knowledge of commercial tiling systems, materials, and installation methods

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills

• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Desirable

• Experience working on large-scale or high-value commercial projects

• Background in subcontractor estimating

• Knowledge of procurement and supplier negotiation
