Stock Condition Surveyor –

Immediate Start Before Christmas!
Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester
Contract: Temporary (4–5 months)
Hours: 37 per week (flexible)
Start Date: ASAP – ideally before Christmas for induction
We’re looking for two experienced Stock Condition Surveyors to join a dynamic team supporting asset investment and customer safety. This is a fantastic opportunity to hit the ground running in the new year after a short induction before the holidays.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out accurate stock condition surveys and record data in line with lifecycle and replacement cycles.
Diagnose, specify, and order technical repair solutions.
Undertake HHSRS assessments and identify Category 1 & 2 hazards.
Report on Decent Homes non-compliance.
Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and external agencies.
Work independently and manage a variable caseload.

Essential Skills & Experience

Minimum 1 year experience in stock condition surveys.
Background in residential surveying/building maintenance.
HNC/HND or equivalent in a building discipline OR 5 years hands-on trade experience.
Strong knowledge of disrepair and housing standards.
IT literate (MS Office).
Full UK driving license (business mileage paid).
