Job Title: Site Manager – Groundworks & Piling

Location: Edinburgh Botanic Garden
Contract Duration: 4 months

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a short-term project overseeing a groundworks and piling contract. You will be responsible for managing the sub-contractor team on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification, with the support of the Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage sub-contractor teams on a groundworks and piling contract

• Ensure health, safety, and quality standards are maintained on site

• Coordinate with the Project Manager to monitor progress and resolve issues

• Report on programme, costs, and site activities

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on groundworks, piling, or earthworks projects

• CSCS card required

• SMSTS

• Strong knowledge of health & safety standards in construction

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

• Ability to manage sub-contractors effectively and maintain site productivity
