Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Night Shifts (4 on, 4 off)
Location: Chiswick, London
Salary: £61,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Shift Pattern: Nights Only – 4 on / 4 off

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a critical site in Chiswick, working a permanent night shift rota. This role is well-suited to an engineer with solid electrical maintenance expertise who enjoys working in a high-performing, fast-paced technical environment.

Key Duties

• Carry out both planned and reactive electrical maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulations and safe systems of work

• Provide support for key M&E plant such as motors, pumps, AHUs, LV switchgear, PLCs and SCADA systems

• Monitor building services during the night, taking proactive steps to improve efficiency and performance

• Manage work orders and helpdesk requests, keeping all documentation accurate and up to date

• Follow health and safety procedures rigorously, raising any concerns or risks promptly

• Collaborate with fellow engineers on shift to maintain smooth site operations overnight

Qualifications and Skills

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification

• City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) Test & Inspection qualification

• Experience working with high voltage systems (HV authorised or awareness desirable)

• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and maintenance industry standards

• Previous experience working within a critical/technical environment on shifts

• IOSH Working Safely (or equivalent) preferred
