Renewables Electrician

About the Role

As a Renewables Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, repair, and maintenance of renewable energy systems within both occupied and void properties. Your work will cover a variety of renewable technologies, including:

• Solar PV systems

• Battery storage units

• EV charging points

• Heat pumps (air and ground source)

• Associated electrical works, fault-finding and remedial repairs

You’ll work to deliver a high-quality service within a social housing setting, completing assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training provided). All works should be completed efficiently, safely, and in line with industry best practice to ensure an excellent customer experience.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

• 2391 Testing & Inspection (or equivalent) (desirable)

• Experience in installing, maintaining, and servicing renewable technologies (solar PV, battery storage, EV chargers, heat pumps)

• Knowledge of Health & Safety practices and compliance

• Experience working in both occupied and void properties

• Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering work on time, first time

• Experience within social housing maintenance (desirable)

You must also:

• Have your own tools

• Hold a full UK driving licence (minimum 12 months)
