Job Title: Level 3 Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: London (Central / Greater London)
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Start Date: Immediate
About the Role
You will join a dynamic building services team delivering high-quality reactive, planned preventative and compliance maintenance across commercial properties. Your main responsibilities will include electrical maintenance, fault-finding and repair works, ensuring safety, reliability and compliance. You will work across a variety of sites and systems, providing technical support and ensuring that building electrical infrastructure is fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled and reactive electrical maintenance tasks to agreed standards and timescales

Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical faults and failures across commercial properties

Ensure all electrical installations are compliant with current regulations (e.g. BS 7671 / Wiring Regulations) and relevant safety standards

Assist with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes and ensure records / logs are kept up to date

Ensure compliance with statutory duties such as emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, inspection regimes etc.

Participate in health & safety programmes; ensure safe working practices at all times

Liaise with stakeholders including site managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate works
Person Specification

Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)

Proven experience in commercial electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs

Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and compliance requirements

Ability to work independently, organise workload, and respond to emergencies / reactive call-outs

Good communication skills (verbal & written)

A proactive, hands-on attitude, with strong problem-solving skills
