An exciting and new opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Officer to work with a very reputable Facilities Maintenance company based in Plymouth. The role will be based in their Plymouth office and requires a candidate who can work with an organised and diligent approach. This role will requires attention to detail, great communication skills and you need to have a background in either Facilities Maintenance, Construction or Engineering.  

The role:- 

To be responsible for overseeing directly employed engineers and specialist sub-contractor Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and PPM remedial works documentation to ensure that mechanical and electrical statutory compliance is maintained in line with the requirements of a specific Contract, 

Duties:- 

• Assist the Contract Manager in the monitoring of directly employed engineer performance.
• Assists the Contract Manager in the monitoring of sub- contractor performance
• Oversee and escalate any operational contract risk to the Contract Manager
• Provide management information and positively participate in and contribute to internal and Client Scheduled PPM performance review meetings
• Works closely with the contract Help Desk team

Requirements:- 

You will require a technical trade qualification and/or comprehensive understanding of statutory compliance and PPM in commercial property. Have fantastic admin/IT skills and be commercially astute
