The Company:

With offices in London, Manchester, and the Southwest, we specialise in Housing, Construction, Facilities Management, Property, Surveying, Health & Safety and Sales. We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently working with a social housing maintenance company, who are looking for a Buyer based in Bristol. This is an office based role.  

Day to Day:

• Responsible for buying and procurement of materials across the business
• Liaising with internal teams and suppliers
• Understanding the requirements of the business
• Working across various contracts in maintenance and construction
• Market analysis, QA and financial management

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):

• CIPS qualification or working towards
• 2yrs + experience of procurement or buying
• Working knowledge of procurement systems
• Good sound knowledge of construction, ideally repairs and maintenance
• Familiar with Public Sector contracts
