Job Title: Fit Out Quantity Surveyor (4-Month Contract)

Due to a recent project win, we are seeking a Fit Out Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a high-profile interior fit-out scheme on a fixed-term basis.

 

Role Overview

The Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in managing all cost-related aspects of the project from procurement through to final account. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in the commercial fit-out sector and be confident working independently under tight deadlines.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of cost control and reporting on a high-value fit-out project

   

• Manage procurement of subcontractors and materials

   

• Review and negotiate subcontractor quotations and packages

   

• Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts

   

• Monitor project progress and maintain accurate cost tracking

   

• Provide commercial support to the site team and project managers

   

• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions

   

• Liaise with client QS and supply chain to resolve commercial queries

   

 

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (preferred)

   

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the fit-out or interiors sector

   

• Strong understanding of JCT contracts

   

• Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines

   

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills

   

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software

   

• Immediate availability or short notice preferred
