Job Title: Fabric Engineer/ Fabric Engineer

Location: London – Regent street

Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabric Engineer to join a dynamic team delivering building maintenance services across a portfolio of commercial and residential properties in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong practical skills and a background in facilities or property maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out general maintenance and handyperson duties

   

• Blind repairs and minor carpentry works

   

• Installation of hatches, carpet tiles, and stair nosings

   

• Furniture assembly and minor fit-out tasks

   

• Supporting other trades and learning new skills on-site

   

• Sourcing and procuring materials as required

   

• Completing digital work reports via a mobile app

   

• Working independently across multiple sites in London

   

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the building maintenance or construction industry

   

• Multi-skilled and confident in a variety of general repairs

   

• Understanding of health and safety in the workplace

   

• Full UK driving licence (preferred, not essential)

   

• Experience using smartphones or handheld tech for job reporting

   

• City & Guilds or equivalent trade qualifications (preferred)

   

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

   

• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach

   

• Flexible to work overtime or out-of-hours when required
