M&E Contract Manager – Commercial Property Portfolio
Central London | £60,000 – £70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits | Permanent
We’re seeking an experienced M&E Contract Manager to lead the delivery of hard FM services across a varied and high-profile portfolio of commercial properties in Central London — including mainly offices, retail premises, mixed-use developments assets.
Working for a leading global facilities services provider, this is a key role ensuring technical excellence, statutory compliance, and service quality across occupied and dynamic real estate environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of mechanical and electrical maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites
- Lead, support, and develop a team of engineers and specialist subcontractors
- Act as the main client interface, maintaining strong, proactive relationships and high service standards
- Monitor contract performance against SLAs, KPIs, and compliance obligations
- Oversee budget management, financial reporting, and cost control across the portfolio
- Coordinate lifecycle planning, asset management, and small works/project support
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, safety, and sustainability
- Ensure CAFM systems are accurately maintained and audits are well-prepared and successful
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong background in M&E or technical FM contract delivery
- Experience managing hard services across multi-site or mixed-use commercial assets
- Skilled in client relationship management and confident in a customer-facing role
- Solid understanding of statutory maintenance, H&S, and compliance frameworks
- Electrically or mechanically qualified (e.g., 18th Edition, HNC, NVQ Level 3)
- Financially aware with experience managing budgets and reporting
- Organised, calm under pressure, and solutions-focused
