Quantity Surveyor job available in mid-Cornwall

Permanent role – New build – principal commercial building contractor.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor experienced in commercial or maintenance projects with a leading and established principle contractor in mid-Cornwall area. 

Quantity Surveyor Day to day:

• Provide estimates/costs to client where necessary
• Send all orders to subcontractors
• Request quotations from subcontractors
• Agree subcontractors variations
• Sign off subcontractors variations and orders
• Order materials for Operatives and Supervisors
• Apply valuations and invoices to client as agreed dates
• Raise client invoices
• Weekly internal contract meeting
• Measure bigger jobs to capture all elements of works
• Inform client of variation required (Subcontractor identified variation)
• Record pre-order number on service connect
• Record details of subcontractor variation on service connect

Quantity Surveyor Requirements:

• Relevant Surveying Degree
• Good Quantity Surveying Experience

Salary is flexible up to £55-70k Salary + car allowance or van.
