Job Title: Mobile Gas Enginner / Mechanical Engineer

Location: Cornwall

Salary: Up to £41K + van + fuel card

The Company:

Build Recruitment are working on behalf of a facilities group to recruit a mobile gas engineer or mechanical engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Our client is looking for an experienced gas engineer or mechanical engineer to join them on a permanent basis to provide planned and reactive maintenance across a large commercial contract covering Plymouth and Cornwall.

You will be required to be part of the out of hours rota to attend emergency repairs (approx 1 week in 5, standby rates extra to the salary).

A company van and fuel card are provided.

Day to Day:

• HVAC repairs and maintenance
• Planned commercial maintennace in adherance to set engineering standards.
• Reactive works including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and minor fabric repairs.
• Minor projects
• Emergency call outs

Requirements:

• You will need to hold your ACS gas qualifications
• A level 2 plumbing qualification or above
• Unvented Hot Water Systems
• Oil OFTEC 
• Basic HVAC knowledge and experience- FGAS is desirable
• Basic fabric repair skills such as carpentry, painting, and internal and external fixture and fitting repairs
