Day-to-day duties of a Carpenter:

As a carpenter, you will perform maintenance duties within the social housing sector and represent your employer professionally. This carpenter role involves managing your own daily assigned jobs, starting from your home. Tasks such as fitting fire doors and internal doors, fitting worktops and kitchen units, fitting door frames, timber joist repairs and timber stud work repairs, fitting skirtings and architraves, sash cords and associated repairs to sash windows, Casement window repairs including hinge and handle renewals, renewal of sealed units to all timber and upvc windows and doors,

Multi skills tasks include: Plastering patch repairs, bond and set, plasterboard, minor finishing, and rendering, repair and replacement of baths, sinks, toilets, water tanks, wash basins and pipework, Wall and floor tiling.
