We are working with a well-regarded building contractor who deliver a wide range of commercial, education, and healthcare projects across London and the South East. With a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their delivery team.
The Role
As Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction activities on site, ensuring projects are delivered to programme, budget, and quality standards. You’ll oversee site teams and subcontractors, maintain compliance with health & safety, and act as a key point of contact for clients and consultants.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily site operations across commercial, education, and healthcare projects.

Oversee health & safety, ensuring strict compliance with company and industry regulations.

Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site staff.
-
Monitor progress against programme, identifying and resolving issues proactively.

Ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and the wider project team.
The Ideal Candidate

Proven experience as a Site Manager within a main contracting environment.

Background in commercial, education, or healthcare projects (preferred).

Excellent knowledge of health & safety standards and compliance.

Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.

Ability to manage subcontractors effectively and drive performance.

Proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
