Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – Long-Term Temp

Location: London

Pay: £23.00 – £25.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Contract: Ongoing Temp (Full-Time, Monday to Friday)

We are currently looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to join a building services team supporting a range of commercial properties across London on a long-term temporary basis.

This role will involve a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical work, working across busy and well-maintained commercial buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out PPMs and mechanical repairs on commercial building systems

   

• Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance issues

   

• Work on HVAC systems, including pumps, valves, AHUs, and pipework

   

• Maintain compliance standards and complete job records accurately

   

• Collaborate with other engineers and site staff to ensure smooth operations

   

Requirements:

• Strong background in mechanical maintenance within commercial or facilities environments

   

• Hands-on experience with HVAC and building services plant

   

• Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds or equivalent)

   

• Able to work independently and manage workload efficiently

   

• Available immediately or on short notice
