Carpenter Multi Trade Operative – Swindon

We are working with a busy and well liked maintenance contractor to recruit an experienced Carpenter Multiskilled Operative who will provide a reactive maintenance service on domestic properties in Swindon.

You will be doing maintenance work on social housing properties, dealing with customers, making them feel at ease and providing a top trades service. You must be able to do all aspects of maintenance work with an enphasis on Carpentry but including plumbing, tiling, painting and patch plastering.

This is a permanent position offering £36,800 per annum + van and fuel card.  

Carpenter Multiskilled Operative Day to Day:

• Going to various properties to carry out responsive repairs and maintenance work 
• Completing a variety of works in various trades
• All aspects of Carpentry maintenance work
• Tiling, minor plumbing, decorating etc.
• Driving a company van safely
• Reporting to your supervisor 
• Using a tablet or mobile to log your work
• Driving to various properties in Swindon

Carpenter Multiskilled Operative Requirements:

• Time served or NVQ qualified Carpenter
• Good multi-trade experience
• Social housing experience would be preferable 
• Good attitude
• Honest and reliable
• Full UK Driving Licence

DBS check will be carried out for the successful candidate
