Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: London (mobile role)

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

Call-Out Rota: As required (details based on assignment)

Overview

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a facilities management team serving multiple urban locations across London. The role involves both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical servicing across a variety of commercial and public space environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform PPM and reactive electrical maintenance issued through helpdesk systems

   

• Carry out lighting maintenance, lamping, and fault diagnosis

   

• Test and maintain emergency lighting systems

   

• Monitor and service electrical distribution and switchgear equipment

   

• Maintain compliance logbooks and service documentation

   

• Act as contractor liaison for site-based control and quality oversight

   

• Work safely and adhere to health and safety policies across varied sites

   

Candidate Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2330 in Electrical Installation (18th Edition)

   

• Experience working with hand-held devices to complete electronic job reports

   

• Proven track record of working in facilities or property maintenance environments

   

• Valid UK driving licence preferred

   

• Strong customer service and communication skills
