Are you an experienced Maintenance Operative with a solid background in residential fabric maintenance? We’re working with a well-established, medium-sized maintenance company based in Central London that’s looking for a reliable and skilled operative to join their growing team.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for carrying out day-to-day maintenance and repair work across residential properties in Central London. This includes a range of fabric and general building maintenance duties — ensuring properties are kept in top condition and delivering a high standard of service to clients and residents.

Responsibilities:

• Performing planned and reactive fabric maintenance works

• General repairs across residential properties (e.g., carpentry, plastering, painting/decorating, tiling)

• Diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues quickly and efficiently

• Ensuring work is completed to company standards and safety regulations

• Liaising with tenants, clients, and property managers as required

Requirements:

• Level 2 trade qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, plastering, etc.)

• Proven experience in residential fabric maintenance

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential)
