M&E Project Manager – Commercial Property Portfolio

Central London | £60,000 – £70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits | Permanent

We are recruiting for an experienced M&E Project Manager to join a leading global facilities and property services provider. This role will be responsible for managing multiple building services upgrade projects across a diverse commercial property portfolio in Central London, including high-end offices, retail units, and mixed-use developments.

This is a key position delivering critical infrastructure upgrades — such as HVAC improvements, electrical resilience projects, and energy efficiency programmes — in occupied, high-value environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate M&E upgrade projects across live commercial assets with minimal disruption to tenants and operations
• Act as the interface between project delivery teams, clients, tenants, and building management stakeholders
• Manage contractor performance, ensure compliance with technical specs, and oversee project timelines and budget adherence
• Support the preparation and review of RAMS, technical documentation, permits, and statutory compliance
• Lead progress meetings, produce reports, and track project milestones and variations
• Ensure health & safety best practices are maintained across all sites
• Identify project risks, manage change control, and support continuous service improvement initiatives

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in project delivery within the building services/M&E/FM environment
• Exposure to commercial property settings such as office blocks, retail, or hospitality venues
• Strong understanding of HVAC, lighting, power distribution, and building automation systems
• Electrically or mechanically qualified (e.g., 18th Edition, HNC/HND, or equivalent trade background)
• Exceptional communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on delivery, compliance, and service quality
