Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a well-established and growing civil engineering and groundworks contractor based in Reigate, is looking to appoint a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a medium-sized contractor known for delivering high-quality infrastructure, groundworks, and enabling works across the South East. With a healthy project pipeline—most projects based in Central London—and a supportive team environment, this role offers real scope for professional growth and development.

The Role:

• Responsible for the commercial management of civil engineering and groundworks projects

• Assist in tender preparation, subcontractor procurement, and contract administration

• Monitor project costs, variations, and progress reports

• Prepare and manage valuations, final accounts, and cost reporting

• Liaise closely with site teams, clients, and supply chain partners

Requirements:

• Around 3–5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within civil engineering or groundworks

• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field (preferred)
